A train trip to Waterford

On Tuesday the 16th of December the staff and students of Killusty N.S. made their way by train to Winterville in Waterford city. As the winter sun shone, our outing commenced with a very scenic train trip from Clonmel train station to Waterford. While in the city, we enjoyed some indoor shopping and also some browsing at the market stalls. A twirl on the carousel and a delicious lunch was enjoyed by all.

A very special Presentation

One of the highlights of our seasonal events was the presentation of our knitted quilt to our nearest and dearest neighbour and gardener, Christy Williams. Christy has been a valued friend of Killusty School for many, many years. It was with great pride that our school children presented our homemade gift to Christy days before his 94th birthday.
